Ready? Set! TO GO!

Back when I was working in an office, I would bring a banana and some crackers to tuck in my desk for a snack. What usually happened was I didn't have time for a snack, so the banana got brown and the crackers ended up tasting like bananas. Ewww. Not my favorite flavor in the world.

So now there's something new that I must tell you about to stop the creation of banana-flavored Ritz crackers. Are you ready? Set? It's 'To Go!' Yup, that's what they're called. Let me show you.

This one is Chicken Fajita. It's Grilled Chicken, Red & Green Bell Peppers, Onions and Fajita Seasoning.

You can skip the drive-thru and munch on your favorite Tex-Mex dish anywhere with this packet. Just add 1/4 cup of hot water to the bag. Stir, then seal the bag. Occasionally shake or stir gently. Let sit for 5 minutes. Stir again and add more hot water if needed.

When the meal is rehydrated, or as we like to say, 'refreshed,' then fold the ingredients into a tortilla or eat with chips. Eat it right out of the bag or add it to some greens for a salad.

Chicken Salad is my personal favorite 'To Go' meal. Add 1/4 C of ice cold water to the bag  and seal it back up. Shake every couple of minutes until water is absorbed, about 10-15 minutes.

Then add 2-3 T. of mayonnaise, which by the way comes with the packet. How sweet is that! Mix together and enjoy! You can eat this as a sandwich by adding the ingredients to your favorite bread, serve it with crackers, wrap it up in lettuce, or enjoy it straight out of the bag too.

I like to add freeze dried apples or grapes to the chicken salad while it's rehydrating too. This is so easy and convenient.

Last, but not least, is the Island-Style Pork. Add 1/2 C of hot water to the bag and stir to combine. Seal the bag and let sit for 10 minutes or so, stirring the ingredients occasionally.

It's a mix of pulled pork, pineapple, onions, and island seasoning. When it's refreshed, pile it on a bun, serve it over rice, or eat it right from the bag if you're really in a hurry!

All of the meals are single servings and a fantastic price point. Each is $2.99, or less. Even with shipping, it's less than $4.00 There's a variety pack available two, with 2 each of the meals inside the box.

If you're counting, the calories range from 80 to 170. These have been so popular than they've gone out of stock TWICE since they were launched. So if you go on the website and find them out of stock AGAIN, please be patient. Last time it only took a week for the packets to be available again.

So what do you think? Are you ready 'To Go?'
